The Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle — the MATV — was developed in response to the deadly IED threat facing U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan's rugged terrain. Combining a V-shaped blast-deflecting hull, high ground clearance, and all-terrain mobility, the MATV offered the survivability of a full MRAP in a lighter, more maneuverable package suited to mountainous conditions.

This build faithfully recreates the MATV's V-hull profile, protected crew cab, and heavy-duty all-terrain suspension — a vehicle whose design directly saved lives in some of the most dangerous operating environments in modern warfare.
